A Moms Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for my sanity to keep.
I pray for a house that stays looking clean and nice,
For kids who pick up toys without being told twice.
I pray for someone to invent a tasty low-fat treat,
That does not go straight to my thighs when I eat.
I pray for one full day that the kids don't fight,
And for some quiet time to relax and read at night.
I pray I'll always stay real cool,
And keep the secret mommy rule:
To NEVER tell anyone that
The world is really ruled by MOMS!
